Another special edition for Key Publishing, this one tells the military history of the Jacobite Rising of 1745 that eschews the romantic folderol to focus on the military and political aspects of Great Britain’s last civil war (at time of writing).

My soundtrack recommendations are two albums which were in near-constant play while I was writing is Air Fàir an Là by Niteworks and Blackhouse by Peatbog Fairies. The mixture of high energy electronica and Gaelic folk is perfect mood music for bloody pitched battles in the Scottish Highlands.
